The AI Writers Collective is a group of individuals of all experience and technical sophistication, and backgrounds, to collectively learn and share techniques for using AI in their writing. We think there’s a way to do it that makes use better and more authentic storytellers and communicators.

We seek to define what constitutes good use of AI: where the lines are, and where they may differ for people with different needs, purposes, perspectives, and sensibilities.

We seek to offer opportunities and examples and suggestions so that each writer can decide for themselves whether, if, and how to incorporate LLMs into their personal writing style – including al aspects of the writing journey: from idea generation through writing to publication and marketing.

We manage an online discussion community, organize and conduct co-learning sessions, publish blogs and podcasts, sponsor virtual and in-person meetups, support the creation of standards and best practices, and offer training and workshops to those on this journey.
